Blacksmith Fork Freedom Run 2013

The Blacksmith Fork Freedom Run is a 15k run down Blacksmith Fork Canyon held every July 4th and sponsored by the Cache Sun-n-Snow Runners.  The limit is 600 runners though this year they had a little over 660.  Rasmussen Pottery has been creating the trophy plates for this event for the past several years.  The plates have a wire on the back and an inscription carved into the stoneware before they are fired.  The plates depict the beautiful Cache Valley and the Blacksmith Fork River where the course takes place.  Pictured in upper right is Heather Housley and Brian Hunt, the promoters that bring this great event to Hyrum City.  Below left are the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place women winners (from right to left).  Also pictured below is the Wheelchair winner and first place men winner.
